No, the above image doesn’t show Jason Bateman crashing the set of “Conan.” Andy Richter and Conan O’Brien have taken roles in the fourth season of “Arrested Development,” and O’Brien tweeted the new episodes’ first official photo which shows him and Richter filming a scene along with Bateman.
There’s little to no context for this image, but it looks to use like Bateman’s Michael Bluth is having a sit-down with Andy Richter (or one of his four twin brothers: Donnie, Chareth, Rocky and Emmitt) when O’Brien busts in. Richter has already appeared on the show in season 3’s “S.O.B.s” (my personal favorite episode of the series) but this will be O’Brien’s first time hanging out with the Bluths.
O’Brien and Richter announced the news of their cameos while Will Arnett was visiting “Conan” last week. They’ll be joining fellow guest stars Isla Fisher, Terry Crews, John Slattery, Liza Minelli, Henry Winkler, Mae Whitman (her?), Judy Greer, Scott Baio, Ron Howard, Carl Weathers and the cast of “Workaholics” in season 4 of “Arrested Development.”
“Arrested Development” is set to premiere anywhere from 10 to 13 episodes all at once on Netflix in the spring.
