The cast for the fifth season of “Celebrity Apprentice” was announced Wednesday (Jan. 4) and upon first glance, it looks like a fun bunch. Two of the veteran entertainers, Arsenio Hall and Cheryl Tiegs, stopped by “Access Hollywood” to dish on their fellow cast members.
Of “American Idol” runner-up Clay Aiken, Cheryl says he made her laugh, while Arsenio pipes up, “The sweetest guy, a good friend too. He’s charming, he’s bright and he’s one of my best friends … something about me and Clay bonded.”
Cheryl also surprises us a bit by saying “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice was her favorite of the women, while she adds that model/actress Patricia Velasquez didn’t seem to like her “for whatever reason.”
As for “Star Trek” legend George Takei, Arsenio calls him “the greatest guy to work with.”
“There are times when everything goes to hell and he says, ‘Ohhhh my!'”, in his best George Takei voice.
“The Celebrity Apprentice” Season 5 premieres Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
