After more than a year of dating, Ashley Benson is confirming the end of her relationship with Justin Bieber’s “swagger coach” Ryan Good. The couple had reportedly ended their relationship late last year, with Benson getting closer to her “Spring Breakers” co-star, James Franco.
In an interview with Seventeen, Benson says relationships have always been a normal part of her life, “And I knew I needed to learn to be comfortable alone.” She says the breakup was rough, but she and Good remain close. “I’m too young to be in a serious relationship,” the 23-year-old actress says, “Work is my boyfriend!”
Benson hasn’t dismissed the possibility of love, but admits, “Relationships are scary, because once you’re in one, you have to face the idea of breaking up or staying together forever.” Benson and Franco haven’t seriously addressed the reports they are dating, though Franco joked about it in November, saying, “As for [Selena] Gomez and Benson, those are Bieber’s girls, and I wouldn’t dare tangle with the Biebs.” Bieber and Gomez were dating at the time, but have since broken up.
