Ashley Tisdale, formerly of “Hellcats,” continues to distance herself from the “High School Musical” franchise that made her famous. Tisdale has just signed on to an as yet untitled CBS multi-camera comedy about young creatives trying to make it in dire financial times.
The pilot, written by Louis CK and Spike Feresten, is an update of a script that they cowrote 13 years ago. Tisdale plays a “beautiful and sarcastic assistant to a vintage clothing designer.” The casting was first reported by Deadline.
