ben affleck 150 day live below the line Ben Affleck to live on $1.50 a day for 'Live Below the Line,' alongside Josh Groban, Sophia Bush and moreLive Below the Line is challenging people to spend five days feeding themselves with only $1.50 a day, which is the U.S. equivalent of the extreme poverty line.

Yahoo reports that Ben Affleck has pledged to take part, along with other celebrities like Josh Groban, Sophia Bush, Debi Mazar and Hunter Biden. They’ve all pledged to go at least one full day — there is no word if anyone is attempting more than one, or the full five days.

The website says it wants “to give a glimpse into the lives of 1.4 billion people who have no choice but to live below the line every day — and who have to make $1.50 cover a lot more than food.”

Groban says of his participation, “It’s amazing how much we take for granted not having to live in hunger, and I am honored to have been asked to help spread the word about this eye-opening campaign again this year.”

This initiative is part of the Global Poverty Project, which states
that to fight poverty, people have to try to understand it. The project
is scheduled to run April 29 through May 3 — do you think you could do
