Get ready for your daily dose of cuteness. In honor of World Humanitarian Day 2013 (Aug. 19), Soul Pancake’s Kid President (10-year-old Robby Novak) managed to snag an interview with Beyonce. In the video, Kid President says he’s “so excited [about the interview] I could die.”

Fortunately Bey was excited too. On Aug. 8, Kid President uploaded a video petitioning Beyonce to join him in an interview, which obviously worked out. When Kid President asked her during their chat if she liked the video he made for her, Beyonce burst out laughing.

“I absolutely love the video you made for me. I can’t believe I’m sitting here with the Kid President!” she says. “I was very excited to meet you today.”

Beyonce, pre-short hair, opens up to Kid President about why World Humanitarian Day is important.

“It’s so admirable, the people around the world that dedicate their lives to other people. I think it’s so important for us to take some time and be unselfish and have compassion, because we really can impact the world,” she says. “The world needs more strong, empowered men and women.”
