matt-hoffman-320-bb-12.JPGMatt Hoffman‘s Brigade alliance turned on him and he became the seventh person evicted from the “Big Brother 12” house. He tells Zap2it about his experience in the house, his alliance and who he is rooting for now that he has been evicted.

Did you enjoy your experience overall? Are you glad you were in this season as opposed to last season?

This was the greatest experience of my life to date. I’m glad I was in this season because of the people and the competitions. This was the most challenging season so far. I feel that last season would have been easier to win the game but not as rewarding.

How do you feel about telling everyone in the house about your wife’s “illness” now that you are out?

I feel good, it was my strategy and I pulled it off. It will be hard to tell them, but I feel great knowing that I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish and I never got busted.

Why were you so loyal to the Brigade? Didn’t you see them starting to turn on you?

The Brigade only turned on me because I was the low man on the totem pole. They only voted me out because there was no other option. I really believe that I had a final four alliance with them and then they would vote me out. I knew I was better at competitions than the rest so I was not worried about that.

Knowing you were 4th place in the Brigade, why not out them and team up with Ragan, Brit, and even Brendon?

If I were to out the Brigade then it would be three denying it to one saying it is true. No one would believe me. Ragan would have been mad and then there would have been a big mess in the house.

Why didn’t you “out” the Brigade during your final speech?

At that point I knew my game was over and there is no good reason to ruin anyone else’s game play. If I had outed them in my speech it would have been for spite and that is just not cool.

If you could have dinner with any three people (real of fictitious/ from any time period, dead or alive), which three people would you choose and why?

1 – Kurt Cobain because I would like to tap into his brain regarding his creative process.

2 – Jesus because I think he would be fun to hang with and he could turn water to wine. We would have a really cheap bar tab if we would hang out.

3 – My wife. I haven’t seen her in so long so I would kill to see her and have a meal together.

Who are you rooting for to make it to the final two now that you are out of the game?

I would love the final two to include Ragan in any capacity. Other than that, I would like to see Hayden.

“Big Brother” airs Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. We’ll be back later Friday night (Aug. 27) with the new HOH’s nominations.
