big brother 15 cast 'Big Brother 15' Week 5 power rankingsThere are four weeks down in the “Big Brother 15”
house, with the first woman having been evicted Thursday night (July 25). We’re going to
break down the houseguests every week for you, but sign up for the live feeds if you’d like to watch all the craziness for yourself.

Beware of slight spoilers below, just talking a little about the live feeds after the live eviction show ended last night.

Zap2it’s Power Rankings
caveat — these rankings are based solely on game play, not any remarks players have been making in the house.

1. Helen (last week 2)

Helen has been at no. 1 or 2 for three weeks now. She is one of the people in the house most in control — she’s got her ear to the ground, everybody likes her, she’s very smart. Last night, she finally realized that Elissa isn’t helping her game and has brought Aaryn into the fold of her big alliance to get the other side of the house nominated. The best part is, is that no one is really on to her. She’s kind of running the house.

2. Judd (last week 1)

Judd’s not HOH anymore, but he’s firmly ensconced in the Goof Troop alliance (with McMandy) and then in the bigger alliance of Goof Troop plus Helen/Aaryn/Jessie. He is another one whom everyone likes and is also a lot smarter than people think he is.

3. Andy (last week 3)

It’s the same as the first two — well-liked, his side of the house is in power and there are way bigger fish to fry before he is evicted. Plus, he’s smart. He said on the live feeds last night that if Elissa is on the block as the MVP nominee, then they know America is MVP because this week, there’s no way she’d nominate herself if she can’t play for Veto. Ding ding ding!

4. Aaryn (last week 13)

If she was HOH and wasn’t securing herself an alliance, she’d be much lower. Because HOH only buys you one week of safety. But Aaryn has straight-up told Helen’s crew that she “aligned with the wrong side of the house” and she’s ready to play with them. She’s low woman on the totem pole, but that’s better than being alone and hated. Aaryn might be around a while — and frankly, if I were in the game, she’d be my final 2 pick. People still dislike her enough as a person that she’d never win the money.

5. Jessie (last week 6)

You’d think McCranda would be higher than Jessie because they are more hard-core gamers, but that’s what makes them lower. We’ll get to that in a second. Meanwhile, Jessie has aligned herself with the right side of the house and just keeps not making waves. That’s a valid BB strategy.

6. McCranda (last week 4)

These two were already on people’s radars as power players, but now their showmance is completely ou tin the open. While those of us who watch the feeds knew what was going on, a lot of houseguests didn’t really know the extent to which these two are coupled up. But their “engagement” on McCrae’s birthday pretty much let that cat out of the bag. They are going to be targeted sooner rather than later. McCrae has already said on the live feeds that they need to come up with something like Dan’s funeral to distance themselves from each other.

8. GinaMarie (last week 10)

GinaMarie has kind of ridden Aaryn’s coattails into being part of the in-power side of the houes. She’s not fully in the fold (and if Aaryn were smart, she’d get GM, Helen and Jessie, who are outside the Goof Troop, and make their own Final 4 deal), but either way, GM is on no one’s radar. But she’s also not as well-liked as others higher up, nor is she as much of a competitor as they are. She’s almost a floater, at this point.

9. Candice (last week 7)

Candice is in a pretty tenuous position in the house. All the women seem to hate her (which, she’s a little annoying, but stop calling her “fat,” jerks) and she also can’t keep her mouth shut about ANYTHING. So, the only person really protecting her is Howard. However, she’s not going to be targeted until Howard and Spencer are gone, so for now, she’s OK.

10. Spoward (last week 11)

These two have made huge targets out of themselves. They have no alliance outside each other (and maybe Candice) and Howard’s popularity is fading fast. Spencer never really had as much popularity as Howard — the women think he’s creepy (and he is). So expect these two to be on the block this week and it’s six to five and pick ’em which one goes home, depending on the house’s mood. Howard seems to be the target, but that could change. And one thing could save them …

12. Elissa (last week 7)

Elissa keeps digging herself in deeper and deeper with people by being obnoxious and stirring up trouble left and right. The only reason people are thinking about keeping her around is because of MVP — but this week, we know America is MVP, so look to Elissa to be on the block. That, coupled with the fact that she can’t play for POV, might get her butt booted this week.
