More details continue to trickle out about the recent nuptials for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who met on the set of “The Green Lantern” in 2010. We already knew that Blake walked down the aisle in a one-of-a-kind Marchesa, co-designed by Georgina Chapman — and so did her wedding party. They all wore custom designed Christian Louboutin shoes.
Jeweler to the stars Lorraine Schwartz designed the rings the couple exchanged, and the groom and his groomsmen all wore Burberry suits with custom-designed leather suspenders made by Reynolds’ friend Christopher Bailey.
Florence Welch, of group Florence and the Machine, performed at the reception, and the LA Times says so did legend Bette Midler.
Kacie Fauling, a hair and makeup artist in Charleston, tells People that Welch was “very nervous.”
“Florence said [she was singing] for a good friend and this was her wedding gift for the bride and groom … She said she performs all the time, but she was performing at the wedding and she got nervous because it was for a friend,” says Kacie.
The whole wedding will be featured in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
