Warning: If you haven’t seen the April 8th episode of “Bones,” go watch it.
Because once you’ve seen it, you’re going to want to give Booth a big hug and some Wong Foo’s. The devastation on his face after Brennan rejected his pleas to become a real couple? Absolutely killed us.
Korbi TV caught up with D.B. — who also directed the hour — at the 100th episode party on Wednesday night and had to know where he thinks Booth will go from here.
“We’ll see,” Boreanaz says in the clip below. “I think what was interesting about that scene was maybe she wasn’t really ready [to be in a relationship with Booth]. I think that’s what we were really trying to achieve [in that scene]. He’s willing to wait. And that’s what’s great about his character.”
However, as we know, Booth might not be single and lonely for long.
“At the same time, he’s going to live his life,” Boreanaz admits. “Work hard, raise his boy. It’s always tough, but he’s a very strong character. He relies a lot on what he believes in, and that’s the simple things.”
Watch the clip for more from Boreanaz on that and why the make out they shared wasn’t always the plan for the episode. He’s giving us the low down dirt…
