Following the bombing at the Boston Marathon in April, some of the city’s best-known residents are getting together for a benefit concert. Headliners like Aerosmith and James Taylor will be joined by New Kids on the Block, Jimmy Buffet, Boston, Dane Cook and more. The entire event is being streamed for free online via WGBH.
Originally Dropkick Murphys weren’t going to be able to make the show, however a Boston-area business man sent a private jet to pick the band up and fly them in for the event, according to
The concert benefits One Fund Boston, which supports victims of the bombing. The live stream kicks off at 7:15 p.m. ET.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
