As Bristol Palin gears up to return to the dance floor on “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars,” her ex Levi Johnston is making news with the birth of his new baby girl, Breeze Beretta. And Palin has nothing but nice things to say about it.
“I don’t talk to him much, but I just sent him some flowers from Tripp because that is Tripp’s little half-sibling and I just want the best for them,” Palin told Access Hollywood.
Palin and Johnston’s son Tripp turns four in December, and he remains her top priority: “I want [Tripp] to have a relationship with anyone who’s going to be a good, positive influence on his life,” she says.
She’s rehearsing for the new season of “Dancing” in Phoenix instead of Los Angeles, partly to be in a more “family-friendly environment” for Tripp. And Palin remains conscious of spending as much time with him as she can. “[Rehearsal] doesn’t take that much time away from him — just three, four hours a day. I don’t think it’s a lot,” she says. “And he’s usually doing activities anyways, and in hockey and stuff like that, so he’s busy himself. So I think it’s a good little break away from him.”
Palin is psyched to get back to dancing, and maybe win over some of the critics from her first stint. “I think I’m in a lot better shape than last time and hopefully that will give me more confidence,” she says. “I gained a lot of confidence through the show and I’m not a 19-year-old kid anymore, and I think that’ll help us this time.”
“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” premieres Sept. 24 on ABC. Will you be watching?
