The Hollywood Reporter says Burke-Charvet is staying within the Disney family by taking a recurring role on “Melissa & Joey.” She will play Felicia, an ex-girlfriend of Joe who appears in two episodes in June.

Though Burke-Charvet is known best for her work in reality TV series, she is no stranger to acting. She appeared in one-off scripted TV roles throughout the 2000s in shows like “Less Than Perfect” and “The Bernie Mac Show.”

Also joining “Melissa & Joey” is Tim Conway, who is appearing in the special May 15 lookback episode. No details about his role have been released yet.

“Melissa & Joey” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
