Ron Howard’s daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard (“Terminator: Salvation”, “Spiderman 4”, M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Village” and “Lady in the Water”) will step into the role of vampire Victoria in Summit’s  upcoming “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”

RachelleL_Jean_57025288_600 Stepping down is actress Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed Victoria in “Twilight” as well as the upcoming “New Moon.”

The reason? “Scheduling conflicts.”

“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s president of worldwide production and acquisitions.

“Rachelle brought “Victoria” to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

“Eclipse” starts filming in Vancouver in August. Which is like, soon.

We have nothing against Rachelle, but Bryce is an amazing actress. And they both have blue eyes and bright red hair.

What do you think the real reason was?
