“Call of Duty: Ghosts” really is breaking the mold that people have come to expect from that line of video games. First came the reveal that users will be able to portray a female soldier in multiplayer mode for the first time, not it looks like the action may be headed to space.
The single player campaign trailer shows astronauts with machines guns, because what else could you possibly want? Then, in a scene that looks to be straight out of the movie “Gravity,” everything goes south.
The footage from the game looks truly astounding, as it places the player in a dystiopian future where the United States is in ruins, with only a small group of trained soldiers, nicknamed the Ghosts, to fight back against outside forces.
“Call of Duty: Ghosts” will be in stores on current generation consoles on November 4. It will then hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on their respective release dates.
