Apparently 3 wasn’t a magic number for CBS. After airing just two episodes, the network dumped dating show “3” — it will be replaced with reruns until “The Good Wife” returns in the Sunday 9 p.m. timeslot on Sept. 30, reports TV Guide.
The show centered on three women — April Francis, Rachel Harley and Libby Lopez — in search of love who whittle down their suitors from a pool of 100 men. And, unlike most dating shows where it is every man (or woman) for himself (or herself), April, Libby and Rachel were supportive of each other.
Apparently that wasn’t a winning formula despite the success of a similar show (on which “3” was based) in Israel.
