charlie sheen two and a half men 320 CBS sticks with Charlie Sheen, 'Two and a Half Men'Whatever is happening in Charlie Sheen‘s personal life at the moment, he’s apparently not bringing it to work with him.

Both CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler and Sheen’s boss, “Two and a Half Men” showrunner Chuck Lorre, said Saturday (Jan. 9) that Sheen’s recent arrest and the flood of details about the Christmas morning incident involving him and wife Brooke Mueller hasn’t affected his work on the show.

“We [taped] a show last night, and it went extremely well. The audience was wonderful last night,” Lorre said at the TV Critics Association press tour. “Charlie’s consummate pro, and he delivers. Last night was one of our strongest episodes.”

Hanes stopped airing commercials featuring Sheen, but for now CBS has no plans to do anything with “Two and a Half Men,” the highest-rated comedy on TV at the moment.

“Right now we’re being very sensitive to the fact that this is a very personal and very private matter with Charlie,” Tassler says. “There has been no impact on the network right now. … Right now it’s business as usual for us.”
