“Law & Order: SVU” is airing its 300th episode this evening, after 13 years, countless celebrity guest stars and a plethora of juicy and disturbing cases. But what audiences are most obsessed with is the cast themselves — and seeing the “dedicated detectives” out of their “SVU” element can be quite amusing.
Tonight the team will be chasing down a kidnapper. But when they aren’t busy filming episodes about murder, sex crimes, or serial impregnators, it turns out that the series regulars can be found doing some pretty funny stuff.
Why not celebrate tonight’s milestone with a few of the most entertaining non-“SVU” appearances — because even “members of an elite squad” mess around during their time off.
Richard Belzer’s “Vampire Song”
Something makes us think that Olivia Benson would not approve of this guy. But, hey, I guess Halloween is just around the corner?
Christopher Meloni on “Jeopardy”
How much does this make you miss Detective Elliot Stabler? He’s pretty jumpy, but also pretty good.
Richard Belzer cooks with Christopher Walken
This makes sense. It seems like Much would casually jaunt up to Connecticut to hang out with Christopher Walken whenever he’s not busy with a case.
BD Wong sings Tori Amos
Last but not least, we give you BD Wong’s theatrical (and pretty spot-on) rendition of Tori Amos’ “Leather.” You are welcome.
