Chelsea Clinton could be headed into the world of politics in the future. The daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton has admitted that she would consider following in her parents’ footsteps if she had the right political calling.
“So if there were to be a point where it was something I felt called to do and I didn’t think there was someone who was sufficiently committed to building a healthier, more just, more equitable, more productive world? Then that would be a question I’d have to ask and answer,” she tells Vogue.
Clinton adds that she would have said no to a life in politics before her mother ran for Senate in 2000, “not because it was something I had thought a lot about, but because people have been asking me that my whole life.”
Meanwhile, Clinton’s future with NBC is also in flux right now. Her contract as a correspondent for the network was only for 90 days, and sources say that it’s not guaranteed that she will continue her work after that time is up. Clinton made her debut on NBC News on Dec. 12.
