cheryl ladd getty Cheryl Ladd nears 60: 'I'm hanging in'Cheryl Ladd finds her spotlight isn’t as bright now as when she was a cause celebre of “Charlie’s Angels,” but she doesn’t mind.

The object of wide attention as Farrah Fawcett‘s replacement in the second season (and beyond) of the classic female-detective series, Ladd will join fellow ex-Angel Jaclyn Smith when the show is honored at the 8th Annual TV Land Awards. The nostalgia-driven channel televises the event Sunday, Apr. 25, and Ladd’s appearance will be a now-rare one.

This is such a different business today. In the days of three networks, you had a chance to really make an impact. I think it’s much harder for actors now.” Follow  Zap2it’s Dish Rag on Twitter and Zap2it on Facebook for the latest celeb news and buzz. Photo credit: Getty Images
