drake chris brown bar fight Chris Brown and Drake sued for $16 million over bar brawlChris Brown and Drake have been slapped with a $16 million lawsuit over a bottle-throwing bar fight in New York City on June 14.

The melee involving the hip-hopsters’ entourages injured at least seven people, including Brown and NBA star Tony Parker, and forced the nightclub, W.i.P, to temporarily shut down.

The suit, filed Wednesday (Aug. 15), claims that hot spot Greenhouse, which shares space, owners and a liquor license with W.i.P., lost a $4 million licensing deal because of the fracas.

Furthermore, Entertainment Enterprises, which owns the Greenhouse trademark and filed the suit, specifically targets Brown and Drake for failing to stop the fight and, citing news accounts of their public feud, suggests the two may have instigated the clash.

The lawsuit states that the two musicians, both of whom have dated pop star Rihanna, “began to fight violently with each other [and] each ordered his security personnel, bodyguards, friends and entourage” also named as defendants in the suit — “to join the fight.

“Defendants overran the nightclub’s extensive security measures and the brawl overtook the entire space. Terrorized patrons ran for cover…most were unable to protect themselves.”

Parker, whose cornea was lacerated by the flying glass, has filed a $20 million lawsuit against W.i.P.
