People have been speculating for awhile that Rihanna and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have reconciled, and the snippet of their upcoming collaboration, “Nobodies Business,” certainly didn’t quash any rumors. But both RiRi and Brown went public this week with denials that they’re back together.
“Watch What Happens Live” host, Andy Cohen, interviewed Rihanna on Thursday (Nov. 8) on the Facebook Live! streaming series, where the singer called Brown “pretty dope.” But when Cohen asked whether the two were dating, she said no.
Then Brown hit up L.A. radio station Power 106, echoing his ex-girlfriend’s sentiments.
“No,” Brown says when asked if he and Rihanna are back together. “And that’s just quick, a quick answer.”
So on her new track with Brown, Rihanna obviously means the two are just friends when she sings, “You’ll always be the one that I wanna come on to/Boy let me love you and show you how’s spice show you off/I wanna be your baby, you’ll always be my baby/Tell me what you want now.”
