chris brown good morning america Chris Brown's alleged 'GMA' outburst: ABC News defends Robin Roberts, Brown responds on TwitterAs Zap2it previously reported, Chris Brown allegedly threw a bit of a temper tantrum following his Tuesday (Mar. 22) “Good Morning America” appearance. Reportedly, the singer was upset when his interview with Robin Roberts turned toward his now infamous 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

After being asked three times about the incident, ABC News confirms that Brown stormed off the set immediately following his performance of “Yeah 3x,” returning to his dressing room. He then walked back down the backstage hall, sans shirt, stopping upon seeing the segment producer.

The hair and makeup staff claim to have heard “loud noises” from the dressing room and opted to call security.

After team Brown had left the building, it was discovered that his dressing room window had been smashed and the thick glass could be seen across the street below.

ABC News is defending Roberts’ questions, saying “As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that’s what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown.” TMZ also reports that Roberts even had her Rihanna questions pre-approved by Brown prior to air.

Roberts took to her Twitter following the interview, posting “Sure has been an interesting AM @GMA. Still sorting thru everything myself. Just my 2nd day on twitter, wonder what tomorrow will bring?”

Always the class act, Brown Tweeted, “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there [sic] bulls**t.”

The tweet has since been deleted, and was replaced with “Thank you to everyone who supports my music!!! Key Word (music)!!! Love y’all.”

Obviously smashing windows isn’t acceptable under any circumstance — and neither is beating up your girlfriend, but moving on — Was Brown entitled to be upset about the interview questions?
