It’s been 17 years since “Clueless” first entered our lives, and we’ve been totally buggin’ ever since. That’s why we got so excited when we learned that Entertainment Weekly had brought the cast back together for one of their reunion specials this week.

“Good Morning America” had the chance to catch up with Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer, Elisa Donovan, Justin Walker and Twink Caplan during their EW photo shoot and ask them about the one cast member who was noticeably missing: Brittany Murphy. Murphy passed away in 2009 at age 32, and the Clueless stars shared their favorite memories of her.

“I taught her [the word] ‘sporadically,'” Silverstone says in the above video.

Walker adds, “She was so so so genuinely sweet. For a week, I couldn’t believe it was real.”

Most of all, though, the cast remembers her “contagious” laugh.

It turns out that “Clueless” was harder to get off the ground than one might think. Silverstone remembers a lot of resistance from executives when it came to the project.

“At the time, people were saying like, ‘Who wants to watch a bunch of young people?'” she recalls. Considering the fact “Clueless” has become one of the most iconic movies of the ’90s, we’d guess a lot of people did.
