walking dead zombie kill Comic Con 2012 Schedule: Joss Whedon and 'The Walking Dead' are Friday highlightsIt’s almost time to head to San Diego, fanboys and fangirls and nerds alike! Comic-Con is slowly rolling out its 2012 schedule, and today, we finally got to see what’s in store for us on Friday. This year, “Game of Thrones” and “The Walking Dead” will have a huge presence, filling the enormous Hall H with fans as the cast and creators answer questions about what’s to come.

Additionally, Entertainment Weekly has assembled who they believe are genre’s most powerful women, from “Fringe” star Anna Torv to “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” vamp Nikki Reed for a panel about the honor and responsibility of playing kick-butt female roles.

If you just can’t wait for Fall TV, you’ll get a chance to take a sneak peek at geek-bait shows like “666 Park Avenue,” “Cult,” and “Arrow,” which will all screen their pilot episodes and give you the chance to chat with the cast and creators.

We’re particularly psyched for Joss Whedon‘s always-awesome solo panel. Additionally, he’ll be appearing with Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, Gina Torres, Alan Tudyk, Morena Baccarin, Sean Maher, and Summer Glau for a highly anticipated reunion of the Serenity crew as “Firefly” celebrates its tenth anniversary.
