The “Psych” panel at Comic-Con 2013 was nuts, as usual.
Cary Elwes (who is returning as Desperaux in Season 8) hosted the event — in its fifth year in a row at Comic-Con. Everyone was there for the panel including James Roday, Dule Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Corbin Bernsen (who didn’t actually get a seat) and Kirsten Nelson, along with EPs Steve Franks,Chris Henze and Kelly Kolchak.
First up, both James Roday and Steve Franks joined Twitter for the panel!
“Do you know how many bunny pictures you’re going to get?” — Maggie Lawson to Timothy Omundson after he said he cries a lot
“This is absolutely embarrassing!” — Dule Hill
The winner of the vote for the extra “Psych” episode is “Nightmare on State Street.”
James Roday and Dule Hill performed an acapella version of a song from “Psych the Musical.” The musical looks awesome, by the way. Shawn and Lassie do a tango.
“Did Dule push it?” — Cary Elwes asking about the musical inspiration
“James, I heard sing when we showered together …” — Steve Franks, describing why he wrote a musical
Look for “bada** Gus” in Season 8.
Harry Potter, going to London, mixed with a Guy Ritchie gangster movie … This will be an episode with Cary Elwes
Redo of an earlier episode will star many “Psych” favorites.
The origin of the pineapple? A bit of improv from James Roday in the pilot episode.
“Officer McNab is not done on ‘Psych.'”
“Psychos are the greatest!!!” as the panel ends …
