Marg Helgenberger is ending an era on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” After 12 … yes 12 seasons, Helgenberger will leave the “CSI” in a two-part episode airing Wednesday, Jan. 18 and Jan. 25. She’s stated that she’s looking forward to hiking with her dog and possibly doing a Broadway show. But, she’s not ruling out coming back to the hit series.
According to the Washington Post, Helgenberger would love to return for a special episode or two. “Oh, absolutely, in fact that was one of the reasons why it was a little
easier for me to leave the show because the producers said to me
practically every day the door is wide open. …If I’m available and I’m
up for it you betcha. You haven’t seen the last of
Well, we’re thrilled to hear it. Helgenberger made that show and we’d love to see her return in any capacity we can. Did you know her son Hugh is now a production assistant on “CSI?” She’s received both Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominations for her work
on “CSI” and will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Jan. 23. She stated that this role was “one of the best” she’s ever had. We’ll miss you, Marg. Come back soon!
