For the “Dancing With the Stars” semi-finals, William Levy and partner Cheryl Burke performed the tango and the samba to “Sweet Dreams” and “Magalenha,” respectively. The judges gave him high marks, with a perfect 30 for his samba.

We definitely agree with the judges that the samba was the superior dance to the tango. We actually found the tango a little lacking – it seemed like more of Cheryl showing off than William being showcased. But the judges liked it.

Len said that overall the tango was “terrific,” but William was occasionally flat-footed. Carrie Ann also said that there were some out-of-control moves and some over-rotation. And the audience needs to stop booing the judges when they critique. That’s their job.

What do you think, “DWTS” fans? Will William Levy easily advance to the finals next week? Does he have your votes tonight?
