That Avril Lavigne, always so edgy.

In the songstress’ most recent video, for her new single “Rock N Roll,” Lavigne and actress Danica McKellar fight a villain who says that rock ‘n roll is dead. The video riffs on classic comic-book style, complete with “zaps” and “pows” on the screen, as it toggles back and forth between live action and comics.

Then the two ladies share a steamy kiss after a car crash, with Lavigne voice-overing, “We never talked about it afterward, but I think about the events of that day again and again, and somehow I know that Winnie does too.” Heh.

Look out for a Billy Zane cameo too.

What do you think of Lavigne’s newest video?
