The first trailer for “Daredevil” has arrived. The show is Marvel’s first series debuting exclusively on Netflix — with “AKA Jessica Jones” set to be the next in line.
The clip establishes the dark and gritty tone for the series that follows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer who takes on the masked Daredevil alter ego to clean up his home neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen. In doing so, he makes an enemy of The Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), a crime boss who runs the streets.
Though the trailer primarily features Cox in his titular role, the supporting cast for “Daredevil” is pretty impressive. Rosario Dawson plays Claire Temple, a nurse who helps Murdock, while Deborah Ann Woll stars as Karen Page, a love interest of his in the comics. Rounding out the cast as Elden Henson as Murdock’s law partner Foggy Nelson and Scott Glenn as Daredevil’s mentor.
As the premiere of the show draws closer, expect to see even more sneak peeks. “Daredevil” will reveal itself to the world Friday, April 10 on Netflix.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
