David Letterman followed up his on-air confession to having affairs with his “Late Show” staffers by addressing the people he hurt.
During a Monday taping of the show, Letterman apologized to his staff for his conduct and to his wife Regina Lasko, who was his girlfriend for about 20 years.
The apology comes on the heels of the revelation Thursday, Oct. 1 that a CBS employee was trying to extort $2 million from Letterman by exposing the affairs.
