If Lindsay Lohan looked like death at the Mansion nightclub in Miami on Dec. 28, there was a darn good reason. And I’m not talking about that nasty asthma that put the young pop star-actress into a Miami hospital just a few days later.

Seems Lindsay has a fashion death wish. The skinny-mini starlet was spotted sporting Thomas Wylde’s “Skull Row” scarf, a black silk job trimmed with small white skulls. Just $131 to 142 at Maxfield in West Hollywood.

And La Lohan is not alone in her fondness for Wylde’s skull-lined leather pants, skirts and jackets. Famous femmes Sienna Miller, Alicia Keys, Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz are also going for Wylde, designed by British founder-actress Paula Thomas. Both Diaz and Theron are wearing Wylde’s Diamond Skull T-shirt.

According to a press release, the Wylde wearer is “a woman who fully embraces her rock n’ roll past, present, and future.” And since the launch of the "Black Summer" Spring 2006 collection, actresses have been drooling over the designer’s skull print insignias, now being promoted by powerhouse fashion PR agency, Marilyn Heston & Associates. Heston managed to place then-newcomer Elie Saab‘s gown on Halle Berry a few years back — a major fashion coup. So don’t be too surprised if you see Wylde’s rock ‘n’ roll skulls on upcoming award show carpets or at late night after-parties.

But not the Oscars. That would be the kiss of death! On the other hand, wouldn’t these Wylde skulls look très cool at the Grammys?
