Hall kept mention of his recently revealed battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma out of his Golden Globes acceptance speech for Best Actor on a TV Drama, but he did address it backstage in the Press Room.

“I think a matter of personal health is very much a personal matter.” Hall shared. “I had to be completely frank with you, every intention of keeping it quiet, but because the award shows were imminent, I figured I’d make a statement.”

Hall wore a black cap to the Awards and joked that, “It is nice to sort of have a justifiable excuse for accessorizing.”

Likes: seasons with no more than 13 episodes, anti-heroes and binge-watching. Dislikes: when cartoon characters make out, when TV shows name check their titles, drawn out premieres and finales.
