So is it true?
The “Turn Up the Music” singer did in fact debut new ink on his neck that bears an uncanny resemblance to Ri-Ri. Outlets like Billboard have been quick to condemn Brown for the tattoo’s apparent shocking depiction of a woman’s bruised face.
Examined more closely, however, the woman’s visage looks more like it is camouflaged by a floral design.
Considering Rihanna called Brown “the love of [her] life” and stopped to smooch him en route to accepting her VMA win for Video of the Year, it seems unlikely that would commemorate such a his violent attack in this way.
And for the record, Brown’s camp denies that the tattoo is a tribute to Rihanna.
What do you think? Does the image resemble Rihanna — or a battered woman?
