diddy swag Diddy saves Boys & Girls Club with $50,000 donation, gets credit card hacked

A Bad Boy is making sure that kids have the opportunity to end up good boys. And girls.

It was announced on Tuesday (Oct. 11) that Diddy (a.k.a. Sean Combs) saved a struggling Boys & Girls club in Harlem with a donation that allowed the program to stay open. Willie C. Bentley, Jr, a Boys & Girls Club board member, made the following statement to Access Hollywood:

“Mr. Combs’ contribution comes at a time when we were faced with the possibility of eliminating existing programs and/or club sites. 100% of Mr. Combs’ contribution will go directly to the young people, and provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs allowing us to move forward as a club, uninterrupted.”

Diddy is giving back to his hometown, as the Sean Jean impresario is a Harlem native. Diddy’s generous donation is reported to be more than $50,000.

Diddy’s donation is the good financial news. The bad? According to TMZ, Diddy was the victim identity theft. A website has posted copies of Diddy’s credit card along with his passport and private phone numbers. Diddy has apparently launched an investigation, though we imagine it’ll be easy to pick out the fraudulent charges. See if you can!
