The final “Doctor Who” special “The End of Time, Part Two” starring David Tennant will premiere Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, a week after “Part One” airs on BBC America on Dec. 26, the network announced Thursday.

Not only that, but fans can also catch “The Waters of Mars” special the week before on Dec. 19.

In the finale (check out the “End of Time” sneak peek we posted earlier), Tennant will encounter the Master (John Simms) again after his nemesis is reborn on Christmas Eve. As the Doctor and Master battle to cheat death, the alien race Ood foresee a greater threat approaching.

Guest stars include Bernard Cribbins, Catherine Tate, Timothy Dalton, David Harewood and June Whitfield. An additional special, “The Waters of Mars,” will air on Dec. 19.
