The long-awaited "Doctor Who" specials, David Tennant's last hurrah as the Time Lord, will finally arrive on U.S. shores this summer. It's about time.

BBC America announced that they acquired five new "Doctor Who" specials — four of Tennant's final adventures in addition to the 2008 Christmas special "The Next Doctor," starring David Morrissey and Dervla Kirwan, which will air Saturday, June 27. As fans might recall, "The Next Doctor" acted as sort of a decoy to the announcement that Matt Smith would actually be the 11th Doctor after Tennant.
