Elizabeth McGovern may play aristocrat Lady Grantham on ITV and PBS drama “Downton Abbey,” but did you also know she fronts a rock band?

Sadie and the Hotheads was born in 2007 when McGovern decided to take guitar lessons. She says on the band’s official website that the name refers to everyone’s individuality: “Your ‘Sadie’ is that thing inside you which makes you unique. Everyone has it.”

In addition to McGovern, the band has sometimes welcomed her on-screen daughter Michelle Dockery to sing with them. In fact, Dockery did some back-up vocals on previous Sadie album “How Not to Lose Things.”

The band just released “Still Waiting,” its latest album, with “Everybody’s Got a Song” as the lead track. The video for “Song” is above, which features the 52-year-old “Downton” star cruising around in a powder-blue convertible and sporting some snappy retro duds. You can order the album at Amazon now.
