duets winner 'Duets': J Rome, John Glosson or Jason Farol, who won the first season?“Duets” crowned its first ever winner Thursday night (July 19). It came down to J Rome and John Glosson, both contestants of Jennifer Nettles, and Jason Farol, Kelly Clarkson’s contestant. So who won the recording contract?

In what should come as a surprise to no one, J Rome took the crown. He was on top of the leaderboard all season long and turned in some outstanding performances, so it was a well-deserved win.

Glosson took second, which is not a surprise either. Nettles really found herself two good singers to partner with. Their final song, “For Good,” was excellent. Farol took third, which is a good showing for him, as he started off the season a little shaky.

What did you think, “Duets” fans? And do you see the show returning next summer?
