ABC is launching its summer singing competition show Thursday night (May 24) – “Duets,” which pairs four famous artists (Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke) with two artists apiece to mentor and sing duets with.

We’ve got some preview clips for you of the two-hour season premiere. Above, the mentors join together for a rousing opening number of “Let Me Entertain You,” while below, Kelly Clarkson conducts auditions while she’s out on the road touring, saying, “I’m a little freaked. I want to make sure I find the perfect people, because I am so competitive.”

Below that, you can get a sense of the judges and finally, Kelly takes the stage with one of her mentees, 21-year-old Jordan Meredith from Kimberly, Wisconsin, to sing her smash hit “Stronger.”

What do you think, gang? Excited for “Duets”? It premieres Thursday, May 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
