Elin Nordegren is building a new mansion for herself, and she’s already making it feel like home. The 32-year-old ex-wife of Tiger Woods is proudly flying the Swedish flag over her partially-built multimillion dollar North Palm Beach estate.
After purchasing the house in March 2011 with some of the money she got from her $100 million divorce settlement, Nordegren demolished the Florida house and started from scratch. Some of the first images of the beachfront property have now made their way online and show her home country’s flag flying high.
Daily Mail reports that the 21,000 square-foot estate will feature a movie theater, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, waterfalls, a gym, a spa, a Koi pond and a wine room. Appropriately, there will be no golf courses on the property. Nordegren has spent the past year designing the home herself.
Nordegren and Woods divorced in 2010. They are parents to two children: daughter Sam, 5, and son Charlie, 3.
