Emma Roberts will star in “Delirium,” an adaptation of Lauren Oliver’s young-adult novels about a world where love is treated as a disease that’s “cured” by removing part of people’s brains. Roberts will play Lena, who’s a couple months short of her operation when she falls in love.

“Delirium,” adapted by Karyn Usher (“Bones,” “Prison Break”) will be the first prime-time series for Roberts (Julia Roberts’ niece), who starred on the Nickelodeon series “Unfabulous” from 2004-07.

The CBS comedy “The Crazy Ones,” starring Williams and created by David E. Kelley, has signed James Wolk to co-star. The show centers on the relationship between Williams’ character and his daughter (who’s yet to be cast), who run an ad agency. Wolk will play a copywriter at the agency.

Wolk last starred in USA’s miniseries “Political Animals” and was the lead in FOX’s “Lone Star” a couple seasons back. He also had a guest arc on “Happy Endings” last season.

“About a Boy” will star David Walton (“New Girl,” “Bent”) in an adaptation of the 2002 movie that starred Hugh Grantg, which was itself based on a novel by Nick Hornby. He’ll play a guy who develops a friendship with the young son of a single mom who moves in next door.

Jason Katims (“Parenthood,” “Friday Night Lights”) is writing and executive producing.
