emmy best drama poll Emmys 2011: Which show should win outstanding drama series? Vote now! We’re getting down to the nitty gritty in our ongoing series of Emmy polls. This week, we want you to vote on which show should take home the award for outstanding drama series.

It seems that, just like the last three years, that the prize will go to AMC’s “Mad Men,” and it stands to reason why; the show had an outstanding fourth season. But there are contenders for the prize this year, even with “Breaking Bad” out of the running.

“The Good Wife” improved from an excellent first season, amping up the drama with continuing storylines and new revelations. “Friday Night Lights” might get a send-off from the academy as a make-up for not giving the show its due for the last half-decade. “Boardwalk Empire” is a critical favorite with a Martin Scorsese-created, movie-like finish. “Game of Thrones” might get some votes from people who want to vote for the popular HBO first-year series, despite the fact that genre shows rarely get Emmy attention. And “Dexter” is always hanging in the wings; at some point, the academy might decide to recognize this show as well.

Who do you think will bring home the Emmy? Vote in the poll below. The 63rd annual Primetime Emmys, hosted by Jane Lynch, air live at 8 p.m. ET Sept. 18 on FOX.
