Charlie Daniels 1.jpgFriday, Jan. 15 country music legend Charlie Daniels suffered a stroke while snowmobiling in Durango, CO, 290 miles southwest of Denver.

Daniels was treated in Durango, then airlifted to a hospital in Denver where he stayed until he was released on Sunday (Jan. 17).

Daniels posted a statement on his official website that assured fans he would not cancel any appearances. His next appearance is scheduled for Feb. 27 in Fort Pierce, Fla.
