The “Footloose” reboot doesn’t look like it’s happening anytime soon.
Paramount Pictures has pushed back the release date of the “Footloose” remake indefinitely, reports The Wrap.
The film was originally scheduled to premiere June 18, but that would have been some fancy footwork indeed considering the production start date still remained TBA.
“Footloose 2.0” production has tripped up a couple times already. First, Zac Efron exited, only to have “Gossip Girl’s” Chace Crawford step in. Then “High School Musical” director Kenny Ortega left with no replacement announced, leaving the whole thing up in the air.
