michael b jordan friday night lights 'Friday Night Lights': Michael B. Jordan shares his favorite sceneMichael B. Jordan hit the ground running as “Friday Night Lights'” Vince Howard two seasons ago, filling the quarterback-shaped hole in our hearts left by the graduated Matt Saracen (Zach Gilford).

But this last season saw his character endure a downward spiral of bad decisions, testing our affections for him in the process.

“I heard whispers of it before the beginning of Season 5,” Jordan tells Zap2it. “‘You’re going to become the number one quarterback and everything’s going to be going great,’ they said. I should have known what they meant I was going to get a big head, I was going to start to screw myself and everything was going to go to shambles. I was a little nervous about it, but everything can’t be good all the time.”

That’s one of the reason’s why Jordan loved his job on “FNL.” And while reminiscing about his time on the show, Jordan reveals his favorite scene from the series. It’s from Season 5’s “Kingdom.”

“Coach (Kyle Chandler) I are in his office, and I’m telling him about the interest from TMU. Patrick Norris directed this episode — he’s great — and we’re sitting in the office, and he says, ‘Bring in the bacon and the griddle. Let’s have coach cook bacon during the scene.'”

Yes, we noticed that one, too. “It’s been in the office the whole time, and we never knew,” he says, laughing. “It was so Texas, so Austin and so Eric Taylor. It was one of my favorites.”
