Gabriel Aubry beat Halle Berry’s fiance Olivier Martinez to the punch, so to speak, when it comes to protective orders. Aubry obtained a restraining order against Martinez at Los Angeles Superior Court, according to a report by TMZ.
Following a Thanksgiving Day brawl between the two men, Halle had obtained an emergency restraining order against Gabriel, which kept him 100 yards away from Halle, daughter Nahla, and Martinez.
It was reported that Halle would return to court to seek a permanent restraining order, but Aubry got his order first, which may or may not lend credence to Aubry’s contention it was Martinez who attacked him.
In Aubry’s complaint, he alleges Martinez threatened to kill him if he would not agree to move to France. Halle lost a bid in family court to move Nahla overseas. Aubry also claims Martinez screamed at him while throwing punches — accusing Aubry of costing him and Halle $3 million to fight the custody battle between Halle and Gabriel.
Martinez suffered neck injuries and a possible broken hand during the scuffle, while Aubry suffered contusions to the face and a broken rib.
