HBO’s newest premium channel original movie offering is “Game Change,” the story of the 2008 presidential race of Senator John McCain (Ed Harris) and running mate Sarah Palin (Julianne Moore). The official full-length trailer is out – what do you think?

The movie is framed as McCain’s choosing Palin as a running mate to be the “game changing” moment in his run for president. In the trailer, campaign adviser Steve Schmidt (Woody Harrelson) says of the decision:

“We live in the age of YouTube and the 24-hour news cycle. How else do you think a man who has no major life accomplishments is beating an American hero? You need to create a dynamic moment in this campaign or we’re dead. If you’re going to seriously consider the governor of Alaska, you need to call her now.”

Interesting. “Game Change” premieres Saturday, March 10 on HBO.
