kit harington andy samberg hbo gi 'Game of Thrones' star Kit Harington, Andy Samberg take on Wimbledon for HBO mockumentaryAndy Samberg, “Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington and Karen Gillan are set to lead an HBO mockumentary about two rival tennis players who engage in an exhaustingly long match at Wimbledon.

OK then.

The movie, “7 Days in Hell,” wil chronicle the two rivals’ week-long match at the hallowed tournament, which while ridiculous is not completely outside reality. The longest match in Wimbledon history took lasted 11-plus hours over parts of three days in 2010, with American John Isner beating France’s Nicolas Mahut 70-68 in the fifth set (Wimbledon doesn’t allow tiebreakers in a final set).

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Samberg will play an American tennis star and “bad boy” in the movie, while Harington will play an up-and-coming English player and certified truck driver. In addition to Dunham, the cast also includes Fred Armisen, “Girls” creator/star Lena Dunham, Will Forte, Michael Sheen, Mary Steenburgen, Howie Mandel and June Squibb. Journalist and “Real Sports” contributor Soledad O’Brien will play herself.

“Girls” writer-producer Murray Miller and Samberg hatched the idea together, and Miller is writing the script. Jake Szymanski will direct. There’s no word yet on an airdate.
