Three of the Stark children from HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who play Sansa, Arya and Bran Stark, respectively, stopped by “Today” Tuesday (March 18) to talk about the upcoming fourth season of the epic fantasy adventure series — and to show off a clip.

In the clip above, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) does what he can to comfort his new bride, Sansa, in the wake of her mother and brother being killed at the Red Wedding. He says, in his usual Tyrion way, that even though Catelyn Stark tried to have him executed, he admired her.

In the interview, the stars are mostly mum about what’s coming up, but Williams does say that it seems that the Starks are “heading further and further apart now.”

Turner adds that it’s such fun to get to play these strong female characters. “The great thing about the writing is they’ve written these characters that you haven’t seen before because they’re so strong, probably the strongest characters in the show.”

“Game of Thrones” premieres Sunday, April 6 on HBO.
